This corer MEE is for attaching to the

front of the Penetrator.

It is designed to have the same profit

of the penetrator.

it travels through the subsoil powered

by the penetrator until it hits the target rock.

Then, its motor is activated to provide

the drilling and hammering action to core

into the target.

When the tip is fully extended, further

hammering activates the cutter to cut

the core and retain it inside the corer.

The retreat of the penetrator brings

the core to the surface where reverse

rotation of the motor discharges the core.
